Beautiful cottage which had everything we needed. The owners were brilliant and very helpful and informative. The homemade bread was amazing, as were the fresh eggs. Would definitely recommend.

We cannot praise Hoppers Barn highly enough. The accommodation was spacious and very well equipped. It really did have that home away from home feel. There was a lovely garden for our German Shepherd to mooch around. The enclosed woodland attached to the farm was a beautiful place to enjoy nature on early morning walks. You will need your car to enjoy the area. But for a peaceful break close to wonderful coastal walks this place is a 10/10. This is definitely on our list of places to return to.

Hoppers Barn at Dunsdon Farm is an amazing reverse-level luxury conversion with 3 bedrooms (one en suite) and 2 bathrooms; it sleeps 6 and is pet-friendly. Our holiday barn is a hidden gem, amid peaceful countryside but only 20 minutes’ drive from the surfing resort of Bude, with its acclaimed beaches, restaurants and walks along the South West Coast Path.
We are next door to the nationally important Dunsdon Nature Reserve – which has featured in The Times as one of the UK’s top 20 wildflower meadows – in lush, cattle-farming country unchanged for generations, rich in biodiversity and with breathtaking dark skies. It all adds up to the perfect escape from city life.
